TODD LOWE

Actor, musician Todd Lowe
was born in Houston, Texas, and raised in the small town of Humble,
Texas. He is best known for his work in a number of critically
acclaimed television series, including his most recent role as
Terry Bellefleur, the short-order cook and Iraq War veteran suffering
from post traumatic stress disorder, in HBOs Emmy-nominated
drama True Blood. |
For
five seasons, Lowe played Zack Van Gerbig in the wildly successful
television series Gilmore Girls, starring opposite Alexis
Bledel and Lauren Graham.
In
addition to his recurring role as special agent Chad Dunham in
the award-winning series NCIS, Lowe also has appeared
in Bunheads, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace, Silver Lake,
Happy Family, Trash and the miniseries The 70s.
Film credits include Redline with Eddie Griffin;
The Princess Diaries, starring Anne Hathaway; Where
the Heart Is, starring Natalie Portman and Ashley Judd; and
A Texas Funeral, starring Martin Sheen and Chris Noth.
In
addition to his extensive work in film and television, Lowe has
starred in more than 20 theater productions, including The
Beard of Avon and The Beginning of August at the award-winning
South Coast Repertory Theater; Wife Swappers, Zombie
Attack and Tobacco Road at the Third Stage Theatre;
Happy Days: The Musical at the Falcon Theatre,
directed by Garry Marshall; and King Lear and Loves
Labours Lost at the Texas Shakespeare Festival.
As
a musician, Lowe began playing the guitar at 17 and has been
a singer and guitarist for the Los Angeles-based country-rock
band Pilbilly Knights. The band released their first album, California
Nigth (sic) Club in 2007. He currently performs as a member
of the country-rock band The LA Hootenanny. Lowes
song Boast of the Barn, co-written by Gerard Garcia,
is included in the 50 to 1 soundtrack.
Lowe graduated from the University of Texas at
Austin with a Bachelors of Fine Arts.
